Very large Christ on the cross, Northern Italy 16th century

Christ on the cross sculpted in the round of a very large size (1.70m diagonal hands-feet).
Original polychromy in large part present, as well as the gilding of the perizonium.
Good conservation of the whole, without lacks to the feet and to the hands.
Very strong presence.
Dimensions hands-feet: 1,: 170m; Christ alone: 1,33m
Oak or chestnut wood, northern Italy (Lombardy or Tyrol?), around 1530.
Preparation with cloth under the hair.
