Young woman with cradle signed BOTTINI, 1836

Oil on canvas representing a young woman covering with a veil her child sleeping in a cradle. She holds in her right hand a candlestick lighting the scene in the manner of the old masters of the 16th and 17th c., or, closer to us, the English painter Wright of Derby.
Italian school of the 1st half of the 19th c. A signature appeared at the cleaning, and a date: S.BOTTINI, 1836.
