Fruit veneer Cabinet, Northern Italy 17th century

A large cabinet made of fruit tree veneer and blackened wood. It opens with a secret drawer, a drawer on the front, and two panels revealing eleven drawers and a door simulating an arch supported by twisted columns and four drawers at the base. Eight drawers in a secret compartment inside, but visible because the two concealing slides are missing. Beautiful paper decorating the interior, probably from the period. The interior is in the shape of a concave piece of furniture. 130x79x40
