Cabinet with two bodies in carved and engraved ebony, solid and veneer, on a resinous frame, oak drawer slides, native wood marquetry, mirrors. The corniche opens with two drawers. Two leaves, decorated with octagonal medallions representing the Judgment of Paris (probably from engravings whose trade was intense in the 17th century) open on twelve drawers around two doors hiding a perspective theater surrounded by two sliding panels with secrets hiding five stacked drawers. Everywhere motifs of flowered baskets, mascarons, foliage scrolls, guilloché moldings. Rear base with three belt drawers, and six twisted column legs. A composite model is visible in the Ecouen museum (Sommerard funds), and is not geographically located: the label indicates “France? or Netherlands?” Good state of conservation
