Pair Important Gilt Bronze Candelabras circa 1860

Important pair of candelabra with 18 arms of light, gilt bronze, Neo-Renaissance style decorated with ram’s heads, eagle claw, winged putto, olive branches, etc… “It’s the style Napoleon III”, answered the architect Garnier to the Empress Eugenie, when the latter asked him what style he had been inspired by for the decoration of the Opera house in Paris in 1867.
