Oil on canvas depicting the presumed portrait of the Duke of Burgundy as a child. Attributed to François de Troy and his workshop, 1645-1730.

Louis of France (1682-1712), grandson of Louis XIV, succeeded his father as Dauphin of France upon his death in 1711. He was the father of the future Louis XV.
