Enamel plate of Limoges (?) ,representing the battle of Zama that took place in 202 BC between the Roman armies led by Scipio the African and the Numidian king Massinissa, and the Carthaginians ,led by Hannibal ,who lost the 2nd Punic War there.
Very dynamic composition and good state of preservation.
Some restorations of use on the edges and probably on the head of one of the horses.
